Many people know the music from Bizet’s opera Carmen. The Habanera, the macho song of the Toreador: when you hear them, you almost start whistling along automatically. The French composer Georges Bizet wrote his music to a story about the Spanish Carmen. With its exotic Spanish sounds and colorful story, it is one of the most beloved operas ever, full of beautiful melodies and the finest dances.
