Olijfboom Cuisine

In Groningen, you can enjoy Greek cuisine at the Olijfboom. They have two locations: Olijfboom Canteen, for a quick bite or takeaway, and Olijfboom Cuisine, to enjoy Greek cuisine in a restaurant setting. The latter is located on the charming Steentilstraat. 

Here, you can relax and enjoy a dinner with classic Greek main courses such as Moussaka (layers of potato, vegetables, and minced meat) and Arnaki (lamb shank with honey and thyme). These can be complemented with various mezedes (Greek appetizers/tapas) such as olives, tzatziki, or even octopus salad. Everything can naturally be finished off with a dessert, for example, Greek yogurt with honey and walnut. 

In addition to Greek food, the Olijfboom also offers Greek wines, beers, liqueurs, cognac, tsipouro, and raki (strong spirits), as well as coffee and tea. Additionally, the usual hot and cold drinks are also available. 

Olijfboom Cuisine is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
