Imono

On the Gelkingestraat in the city center of Groningen, you'll find the Japanese Restaurant Imono. This establishment is primarily known as a sushi restaurant, but the concept also includes space for other Asian specialties and treats, both for within the restaurant itself or comfortably in your own room.

 First and foremost, Imono is an 'all you can eat' restaurant, accommodating up to 180 people. For two and a half hours, you can choose from the menu, which includes various types of sushi, poke bowls, salads, grilled meat and fish, noodles, rice, and other Asian snacks.

 Imono also strives for innovation. You can place orders through tablets or your own phone, a robot assists in the service, and new trends are kept up with. It's possible to reserve a Hotpot, where a soup pot is kept warm on the table, allowing various snacks and ingredients to be cooked.

 In addition to a regular reservation, you can make use of a private dining space. Apart from dining in the restaurant, Imono also offers delivery through their own website, Thuisbezorgd, or Uber Eats. Both orders and the restaurant are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The restaurant is closed only on Mondays.
