't Zwarte Schaap

Located on the Schuitendiep, near the Poelebrug, are several cafés and restaurants. One of them is the diner-café 't Zwarte Schaap. Here, in a cozy atmosphere on the edge of the city center and near the water, you can enjoy the wide variety that this café has to offer.

't Zwarte Schaap is suitable for both small and large groups, whether you are looking for a beer on the terrace, a quick bite, or dinner, fish, meat, or vegetarian. There is something for everyone. Various menus are available for groups, and it is also possible to host private events on the upper floor, called the Hooizolder. The waterfront location also offers the option to rent a sloop for a canal cruise with snacks and drinks. 

In addition to the wide selection, 't Zwarte Schaap also has a specialty. The café has its own aging cabinet where pork and beef are matured. Therefore, you can enjoy a nice piece of dry-aged meat here. 

Eetcafé 't Zwarte Schaap is open every day from 16:00, with the kitchen opening at 17:00. When the weather is nice, you can visit the terrace from 14:00 onwards.
