Usva

Just south of the A-kerk, on Munnekeholm, stands a bank building from 1919. However, no financial services are offered here anymore; instead, it provides cultural services. This building now houses Usva, the cultural facility of the University of Groningen. 

Usva has existed since 1969 and offers a wide range of courses, from dancing and music to knitting and stand-up comedy. Additionally, they support student organizations and initiatives through subsidies and office space. Naturally, performances, concerts, and other cultural activities also take place in the theater or café. The full agenda can be found on their website.
