Café de Prins

Since 2017, the gay bar Café de Prins has been located on the Zwanestraat. This café sponsors and is also part of Stichting Pride Groningen. They also help organize Pride events and are a trusted place for the LGBTQ+ community in Groningen. 

Various pleasant wines, beers, and champagnes are served here, but the café also has an extensive cocktail menu. On Cocktail Wednesday, these are available for just €7. For those who prefer not to drink alcohol, there are 0.0 specialty beers and non-alcoholic cocktails available. Meanwhile, all kinds of music are played, there's always a DJ on Saturday evenings, and Sunday is Dutch evening. 

In addition to regular evenings, various events are organized in the café. Think of foute bingo, karaoke nights, even klaverjas evenings, pub quizzes, and a drag show every second Friday of the month. In short, there's plenty to experience! 

Café de Prins is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 16:00 to 02:00, Friday and Saturday from 16:00 to 04:00, and Sunday from 16:00 to 00:00.
