If you choose the Damsterdiep parking garage (a bit cheaper and with more spots than Parking Forum, but far less e- chargers), they say you will park in one of the best parking garages in the Netherlands.

This city center garage is easily accessible from the ring road from the directions of Assen, Winschoten and Germany and that is already a big advantage! It is within walking distance of Gedempte Zuiderdiep and Grote Markt, Martinitoren. A bit further (Groningen is not that big) you find Herestraat, De Oosterpoort, Stadsschouwburg, Groninger Museum and the UMCG. 

It is a pleasant, spacious and safe garage. Although in the reviews it is stated that to drive in and out can be experienced as narrow.

The garage is equipped with an art object, the prow of the barge 'God be with us'. This stem has been given a final resting place in the Nieuweweg pedestrian exit.
