World Press Photo Festival
Sunday 10 Nov - Sunday 03 Dec 2023The World Press Photo Foundation proudly presents the winners of the World Press Photo Contest every year.
Premier photo competition
Established in 1955, World Press Photo is an independent, non-profit organization based in the Netherlands. Over the years, the annual contest has evolved into a premier photo competition, recognizing excellence in global photojournalism and documentary photography.
The annual and themed exhibitions engage millions of people in over 80 locations worldwide, while online initiatives further extend the impact.
Strategic partners
Diverse educational programs create opportunities for learning, dialogue, and exchange among photography professionals and the general public.
Gratitude is extended to the support of strategic partners, including the Dutch Postcode Lottery, PwC, and the newest collaborator, FUJIFILM Corporation.
Non Fiction Photo Festival
NonFiction Photo Festival represents yearly the World Press Photo in Groningen.
The winners' photos are shown during an annual festival. An independent jury has selected the best photos of the year from regional winners. Since 2022, there has been a new format, in which four global winners are chosen from six world regions.
